Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is Intuizione s.n.c. di Gondolo Fabio e Gondolo Marco, with registered office at Via Castelletto Stura, 23 - 12044 Centallo (CN), Italy, VAT number IT04006170049, reachable at the email address info.intuizione@gmail.com.

2. Types of data collected

  • Name, email and password for registration and authentication.
  • Data provided in the Beta Tester Program application, request status and invitation history.
  • Version, date and time of the terms accepted during registration.
  • Amazon SP-API credentials (token, refresh token), encrypted and stored securely.
  • FBA reports (e.g. settlement, inventory, dimensions) and related data.
  • Reports uploaded to the anonymous historical check, processed only during the request and not retained.
  • Aggregate, anonymous usage statistics of the free check (analysis outcome, number of orders and amount detected, marketplace, traffic source), a non-reversible hash of the IP address and a random identifier from a technical cookie. They contain no identifying data or report contents.
  • Technical logs and app usage data (IP, timestamp, internal events).
  • Any technical cookies and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • With the user's consent, browsing and interaction data sent to Meta Pixel and Conversions API: visited URL, referrer, campaign parameters, IP address, user agent, browser identifiers (_fbp and _fbc), and execution of configured events.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Providing the SellerFeeInspector service and its main features.
  • Analyzing FBA costs and comparing them with estimated ones.
  • Managing application security and preventing abuse.
  • Providing technical support to users.
  • Evaluating and managing applications, invitations and participation in the Beta Tester Program.
  • With the user's consent, measure the effectiveness of organic content and advertising campaigns and optimize Meta campaigns.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on:

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – use of the application by the user.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) – security, fraud prevention, service improvement.
  • Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) – document and tax retention.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) – optional analytics and advertising tools; consent may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Data retention

Data is kept for the time needed to provide the service or as required by law. Amazon tokens are stored encrypted. Reports are deleted periodically.

In the anonymous historical check, files, Order IDs, SKUs, and results are not saved. Only aggregate technical logs, the temporary anti-abuse counter, and, when detected, an email containing only unknown warehouse codes and aggregate data remain.

For each completed run of the free check we keep one aggregate, anonymous usage record (no files, Order IDs or SKUs) for statistics and service improvement.

The cookie choice is stored for 180 days. Meta determines how long it retains received data case by case, considering the need to provide its products, legal obligations, security, and the protection of its rights; withdrawing consent prevents the site from sending new events.

6. Security

Data is protected through encryption, secure authentication, HTTPS, restricted access and audit logs. Servers are hosted on a private VPS at OVH (Europe). All sensitive data, including Amazon tokens and FBA reports, is encrypted at rest and accessible only to authorized technical staff.

7. Recipients and providers

Data may be processed by technical providers, including OVH for hosting and Google for email. With the user's consent, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited receives the browsing and conversion events described in this notice for measurement and advertising under the applicable Meta Business Tools terms. We do not sell users' personal data.

8. User rights

Users may at any time:

  • Access their data
  • Request rectification or erasure
  • Restrict processing
  • Object on legitimate grounds
  • Request data portability

9. Cookies, analytics, and advertising tools

Meta Pixel and Conversions API are activated only with consent for the advertising category. Conversions API receives from the server the same browser event identifier to avoid duplicates. Events measure opening the landing page, clicking through to the check, starting and completing the analysis, and submitting a Beta application. We do not send Meta email addresses, application content, files or Amazon account data, Order IDs, SKUs, analysis outcomes, or amounts.

The free check also sets a technical cookie (afa_id) containing a random identifier, with no personal data, used only to link repeated runs from the same browser in the aggregate usage statistics.

The preference can be changed at any time using the “Manage cookies” control available on the relevant pages.

10. Complaints

Users may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
