About us
Our story
SellerFeeInspector was born from a real need. We are Amazon sellers too, and we experienced first-hand the frustration of not being able to understand exactly how much we were being charged in FBA fees. For years we thought our costs were under control, but the real numbers told a different story.
Our mission
We want to give Amazon sellers a clear, automatic tool to verify FBA fees: we check whether Amazon overcharged you and alert you as soon as a product's category, dimensions or rate change, before the error becomes a hidden loss. With SellerFeeInspector you can act early, not just find out later.
Real examples of FBA discrepancies
These are exactly the kind of changes we check for you, before they turn into a wrong charge:
- Amazon recalculated a product's dimensions (possibly incorrectly), moving it to a different fee tier without notice.
- Some items were automatically moved to a different category with higher FBA fees, without notifying the seller.
- In some periods Amazon charged unexpected extra costs for inventory that was too low (low inventory-level fee).
- Orders for customers in Italy or other European countries shipped from German warehouses, resulting in higher fulfillment costs.
Who is behind it
The project is developed by Intuizione s.n.c., an Italian company with experience in software development for e-commerce. We work with modern technology (Django, PostgreSQL, Amazon SP‑API) and with a focus on data security.
